Capilano University enthusiastically marked its 50th anniversary with some truly shining moments. With a full line up of events planned over the course of a year, a celebratory campaign was needed to invite potential students, their families, community stakeholders and alumni to celebrate, with visual elements that would connect various events together and highlight the school’s colourful history. The biggest anniversary celebration was CapFest, with events and activities across the North Vancouver campus drawing more than 4,400 attendees.
Looking back 50 years, pop art was sweeping the art world and popular culture. The campaign captures and plays on the energy of that style through bright colours, exploded halftone dots and motifs of music nature and higher learning.
