BACKGROUND
Looking to engage students early in their education, the Centre for Student Success wanted to communicate their resources and services to help students successfully complete their degree. The Start Right Here tagline is a simple and direct campaign message that speaks to starting the “right way,” and that the Centre for Student Success is part of that solution. The philosophy that a student may “start” their journey at any juncture in their University experience is explored in the campaign creative. While communications will direct students to engage as early as possible, the Centre is an ongoing resource to support students throughout their time at Capilano University.
Custom illustrations depicting aspects of student life
Featured individually, or together, these illustrations use a variety of characters to tell stories and become a vehicle to describe resources. From print materials to environmental graphics, the campaign has drawn students into the Learning Commons with many reporting more confidence and a better sense of community and integration into campus life.
